But not everyone thinks adults should be allowed to order off the kids’ menu—and some restaurants even ban it.

Little did one TikTok influencer know that by simply ordering a kids’ menu cheese pizza, she was reigniting a debate that’s been raging for quite some time. Vanessa von Schwarz shared last year that she was shamed when she ordered a pizza from the kids’ menu at a hotel in Japan.

Schwarz said that the hotel staff member continued to question her when it was apparent that there was no child present. Talk about awkward.

Her video has over 1,000 comments from people eager to chime in with their thoughts.

“I often order kids meals,” one person confessed.

“Especially if the options on the kids menu aren’t even available on the reg menu!!!” another user said.
