Introduction
For a long time, my days felt heavier than they needed to be. Even after a full night’s rest, I struggled with low energy and poor focus. Instead of turning to sugary drinks or complicated supplements, I explored simple kitchen remedies passed down through tradition. One surprisingly powerful habit stood out — a daily drink made with cumin seeds. This humble spice, often overlooked, became a refreshing addition to my routine and helped me feel more active and balanced throughout the day.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon cumin seeds
1½ cups water
Optional: a few drops of lemon juice or a pinch of honey (for taste)
Instructions
Add the cumin seeds to a bowl of clean water.
Let them soak overnight (8–10 hours).
In the morning, boil the soaked seeds with the same water for about 5 minutes.
Turn off the heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly.
Strain the liquid into a cup.
Add lemon juice or honey if desired, then drink warm or at room temperature.
Serving and Storage Tips
Best consumed fresh in the morning on an empty stomach.
If preparing ahead, store the strained drink in a sealed glass container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
Stir well before drinking if it has been sitting.
