Lemon & Parsley Detox Syrup: A Traditional Support Drink for Kidney Health

Introduction

Ingredients

2 fresh lemons (preferably organic)

1 handful of fresh parsley

1 cup purified water

1 tablespoon raw honey (optional)

1 teaspoon olive oil (optional, traditional addition)

Instructions

Wash the lemons and parsley thoroughly.

Slice the lemons (remove seeds to reduce bitterness).

Chop the parsley finely.

Add water, lemons, and parsley to a saucepan.

Simmer on low heat for 10–15 minutes without boiling.

Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool.

Strain the liquid into a clean glass jar.

Stir in honey and olive oil if using.

Store in the refrigerator.

Serving and Storage Tips

Drink 1–2 tablespoons diluted in warm water once daily.
