In the restroom, Angela tried to clean the stains, but her blouse was ruined. The pain in her chest wasn’t so much from the coffee she’d consumed, but from the shame of being humiliated in front of everyone. She considered her options: ignore it, report him, or leave.
The silence in the break room had already been broken. Sophie Nguyen, a marketing analyst, whispered to a colleague,
“We can’t let this go. Did you see what he did to her?”
“I recorded everything,” said Michael Harris, an IT technician, holding up his phone. “This needs to be reported.”
