Ever since they revealed to me the HOTEL trick for scenting bathrooms, I’ve been doing it all the time. The results are truly incredible; I’ll explain everything in the first comment.

How to do it: Add 2–3 drops of your favorite essential oil to the inside of the cardboard roll, not on the paper itself.

Why it works: Each time the roll spins, it subtly releases fragrance into the air.

Best scents: Lavender, eucalyptus, lemon, peppermint.

2. DIY Reed Diffuser
How to do it: Fill a small jar with water and add 10–15 drops of essential oil. Place a few wooden skewers or reeds inside.

Placement: Set it on a bathroom shelf or near the sink.

Result: A constant, gentle fragrance all day long.

3. Scented Towels
How to do it: Add a few drops of essential oil to the backside of towels or onto rolled-up spares.

Why it works: Every time you grab a towel, the scent is reactivated and dispersed.

Tip: Try rosemary or citrus oils for a fresh, spa-like experience.

4. Baking Soda + Essential Oils
How to do it: Mix 2 tablespoons of baking soda with 10 drops of essential oil. Place the mix in small bowls, jars, or breathable cloth bags.

Where to place: On toilet tanks, shelves, or behind the door.

Benefit: Neutralizes odors while releasing a fresh scent.
