- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions:
- Make the filling:
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gently fold in chopped strawberries. (Or spread jam directly if using.)
- Assemble the sandwiches:
- Flatten bread slices slightly with a rolling pin.
- Spread about 1-2 tbsp of the cheesecake filling onto one slice.
- Top with another slice and press edges gently to seal (use a fork to crimp if needed).
- Dip & fry:
- Whisk egg and milk in a bowl.
- Dip both sides of each sandwich into the egg wash.
