Introduction
Holy basil—commonly known as tulsi—has been valued for centuries in Ayurvedic tradition for its healing and protective properties. Beyond its spiritual significance, tulsi is now recognized as a powerful natural ally for maintaining clean teeth, fresh breath, and a healthier mouth. Rich in antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant compounds, tulsi can help reduce harmful bacteria, soothe gum irritation, and support overall dental hygiene. Below is a simple, natural recipe that incorporates tulsi to enhance your daily oral care routine.
