This cinnamon-kissed creation was born from moments when words weren’t needed, only warmth, patience, and the simple joy of baking. Soft, fragrant, and gently sweet, this recipe is perfect for slow mornings, shared smiles, and peaceful evenings when comfort matters most.
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
¾ cup milk (or plant-based alternative)
3 tablespoons melted butter or oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a small baking dish.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, mix milk, melted butter, vanilla, and honey.
Slowly combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until a soft batter forms. Do not overmix.
Pour the batter into the prepared dish and gently smooth the top.

Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
