On the subway, a young mother was feeding her baby when the woman sitting next to her started screaming and insulting her—but then a young man stepped in and did something that shocked everyone

I recently witnessed a scene in the subway that will stay with me for a long time.

A young woman with a baby carriage entered the carriage.

At first the baby slept peacefully, but soon woke up and began crying loudly.

The mother, embarrassed, apologized to the passengers and said quietly,
“I’m sorry, I’m just hungry.”

Before the baby could calm down, the woman took out the diaper and started feeding the baby while still on the train.

Most of the passengers behaved very well: some turned to the window, others pretended nothing was happening. Everything seemed fine.

But there was an older passenger sitting next to the mother.

Suddenly he turned to the girl and loudly announced,
“What are you doing?! There are men sitting here too! Aren’t you ashamed?”
“But the baby’s hungry…” the mother replied gently. “It’s quite natural.
” “Natural?! In our day, pregnant women didn’t even go out into the street; they were ashamed of themselves, you young people, and you have completely lost your conscience! It’s a disgusting sight!

” “Then just don’t look there,” the woman replied calmly. “The others won’t be outraged either.
” “Do you even speak?! You have no respect for your elders anymore!”

The mother tried not to react, but the woman became increasingly agitated, waving her arms and attracting the attention of all the passengers.

The atmosphere became increasingly tense.
